London quartet The Boxer Rebellion release their new LP ‘Ocean by Ocean’ on April 29th, along with brand new album track ‘Keep Me Close’.

‘Keep Me Close’ is a deeply personal track to lead singer Nathan Nicholson “about opening yourself up – about the leap you take when you give yourself over, unwaveringly, to someone else. It’s about letting yourself be judged, about being open to change to be closer to someone.”

With the addition of new guitarist Andrew Smith, their sound is dark and epic with singer Nicholson’s soaring falsetto creating an otherworldly ambiance on this first single from the forthcoming new LP. The electro-synth sounds are a nice touch on this fairly complex track and the new found love of electro sounds fits well with the band’s previous sound. Fans won’t be disappointed.

Live Dates

The band are playing at STEREO, Glasgow on the same night as their new LP is released (29th April 2016), so be sure to go along and show them some love.
